SuperValu Food Stores, Thumbs Up Video, E-Village Cafe, Ground Zero Gaming and the Electronic Village have combined efforts to establish the program known as "Technology 2000 for Education."
This program gives students, teachers and senior citizens the opportunity to use computer equipment with full T-1 internet access, or connect wirelessly with their properly equipped laptops for absolutely free between the hours of 2pm and 7pm, Monday thru Saturday at the Electronic Village located at 8004 Main Street, St. Rose.
"Technology 2000 for Education" provides an excellent opportunity for students, teachers and senior citizens to continue their education with research or simply learn about computer usage. Software and video cassettes are available for learning.
Mike and Tom Schuette, local business entrepreneurs, feel this will provide an extra learning boost to the area schools. The availability and access to more computer equipment will benefit those students, teachers &senior citizens which may not have access to this technology otherwise.
"Technology 2000 for Education" is a first for Bond, Clinton, Madison, St. Clair and Washington Counties. We believe this program will prove to be a great asset to the local communities. For further information about "Technology 2000 for Education" or about instructional classes stop by or call the Electronic Village at 526-8301 or e-mail us at 'webmaster@papadocs.com'.
